I AmThankful As Our Annual Meeting Approaches
I wrote an article on appreciation for our electronic newsletter yesterday. It felt good to write that. And I figure that I might as well stay on the same topic. After more than seven years, we continue to rely on volunteers, funders and partners who have stayed with us from the very beginning. One of the nice things, though, is that we pick up new blood each year.
One of the aspects of Progress Through Business that I like most is that I really like the people who work with us.
Since most of us don't live in the same cities, we don't know each others birthdays and we can't say that we know the names of each others' kids. But we do care about each other. And that comes through in various and regular ways.
In any case, I do appreciate everyone who has been involved with Progress Through Business.

Looking forward to August
I'd just like to piggyback off of John's comment and reiterate how wonderful it will be to meet the Progress faces I speak with every week on the phone. As a "new" member of Progress, almost one year, I'm looking forward to hearing what others are doing across the states for Progress.
Our annual meeting this August should be an excellent opportunity to meet the board, introduce volunteers, spark hopeful donors interest, and spread word of our non profit work.

Meeting
I can personally speak to how wonderful and dedicated the people of Progress Through Business are. Working with them was a life changing experience for me and I am forever grateful. I can also say how important and useful our meeting was last year. Stephanie, I know you will appreciate putting a friendly face to each of those voices you have heard over the past year; I know that I did.
