Annual Meeting
The directors and associates of Progress met in Madison, WI, on August 3 & 4 for the annual conference and report to the community. The focus was on our mission and the spread of our programs throughout the country.
Our supporters, partners and other interested parties were treated to a luncheon seminar on the 4th at the UW Business School. This program featured each of our regional directors and program directors highlighting the role of Progress in their geographic areas. We also heard from two entrepreneurs, each associated with Progress, Granite Broadband and Outpost Capital-Newco Senior Living. Granite is involved in bringing the 21st century to rural America through connectivity and affordable technology; Newco seeks to create the best in senior living opportunities with an inclusive campus environment which combines the five essentials of senior life.
Attendees included Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin, the Hon. Barbara Lawton; our underwriter, Wisconsin Business Development Corporation; UW Foundation; UW office of Provost; Dean Hardeson - UW,Superior; UWE Credit Unions and the Filene Research Institute plus many others.
