Educated Investor University Classes Mirror Progress Goals
Helaman Barrios of the Educated Investor University, a product of Precision Information, Inc., decribed to the directors of Progress just how it educates Credit Union employees on-line and on financial matters. The 10 courses available to employees cover budgeting to marco economics and everything in between.
Progress has always focused upon financial education as a way out of poverty and agrees that this course offering matches its philosophy. Employees of credit unions have, according to a recent study, increased their financial knowledge by 28%. If the employee knows more, they probably will be able to help the Credit Union client better. If the client is better informed, the client will probably make better financial decisions. That is what Progress is all about. Thanks Helaman!
